EKU McNair Scholar is the EKU College of Science Student of the Month!

EKU McNair scholar Jesus Daniel Lopez is the EKU College of Science student of the month for October 2018!

Daniel comes to EKU from Bardstown, Kentucky.  He arrived on the EKU campus in the fall of 2017 and quickly distinguished himself as a model undergraduate scholar and a young man engaged with campus life. Daniel says he was first attracted to EKU because of the sense of community and family he was introduced to by members of the Latino Student Association (LSA).  He also says, "What I like most about EKU is the community of friends I have met along the way that has helped guide me through college.  Whether it has been through LAS, CRU, Freshman Academy, or the McNair Scholars Program,  I have created relationships that will always be important to me."

Daniel is double majoring in Spanish and Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Dental.
