Jessica Shares Thoughts about EKU McNair

"The McNair Scholars Program at Eastern Kentucky University has transformed what once felt like an unattainable dream into a tangible goal. As a first-generation, non-traditional student, the prospect of accessing a graduate program seemed out of reach, almost laughable. However, the program has played a pivotal role in equipping me with the necessary tools, guidance, and support to pursue a doctorate. Without the assistance of program staff members, I wouldn't have the confidence or resources to embark on this challenging yet rewarding academic journey. Thanks to their support and guidance, pursuing a doctorate, which once seemed like a distant dream, is now within my grasp."
